In this hands-on workshop, Elena will offer detailed instruction on the fundamentals of watercolor. You'll learn how to use your brush, how to apply paint, how to build up a composition from a blank piece of paper, and how to mix colors.

For the complete beginner, looking for that first experience with molten glass, Ghost Pepper Glass offers its “Taste Of Glassblowing” workshops. Saturday evenings from 6pm-9pm, these events allow individuals, couples and groups can come in and each make a unique souvenir with the help of a professional instructor.
Students will make their own base dough in this class and then we will make and bake 3 flavors of bagels – Asiago Cheese, Cinnamon Raisin and Everything. While the bagels are in the oven we will make a sweet and savory cream cheese spread to take home and enjoy with the bagels. Everyone will leave with 9 bagels.

Led by artist Julie Pelaez, this hands-on workshop will focus on the fine art aspects of this new, elusive medium. After observing and practicing 3 different techniques, students will apply their new skills and come home with two painted frame-ready 6” x 6” panels.
Everyone will create their own paper stencils and then practice printing on paper (greeting cards!), before printing on your choice of flour sack towels or tote bags.
We'll begin this 2.5hr workshop by going over and practicing a variety of embroidery stitches before moving on to stitching an original Texas wild flower inspired design on your hoop. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore a range of stitch options to complete your finished piece to make it one-of-a-kind at your own pace!
